Ocarina of Time on Lichii
This page is about the Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, not the Nintendo 64 or 3DS versions. Nintendo published it on 5 Nov 2026. At 05:22 UTC on 7 Nov 2026 the Lichii catalog listed 79 reports, a median of Runs, and a latest visible result of Runs.
The catalog only shows the latest 50 of those 79. I describe the 50 that are public and I do not invent the other 29.
What the visible 50 reports say
Among the 50 rows I could read: Runs 23, Playable 18, Loads 5, Perfect 3, Unplayable 1. Builds: 44 on 93, two on 88, one on 83, and three marked other or unknown. The report list is a moving 50-row window; individual hardware results below are dated samples, not a census of all 79 reports.
The latest 50-row window was read at 05:22 UTC on 7 Nov 2026. Older report samples below remain linked to their original hardware and build rather than being treated as the whole current window.
The catalog Best result line says RTX 30 · Vulkan · Win 11. The same page also has Perfect rows on RX 9000, including one on Linux. I print both. I do not collapse them into a single best PC.
Frame rates people actually posted
Those rates are self-reported scenes, not one benchmark. A 59.90 fps Mido reading on build 88 does not mean the whole game holds 60. TechPowerUp independently reported launch-day footage varying from 20 to 60 fps, with visual faults and stutters. That media observation does not establish performance for any single machine in this table.
| Hardware | Result | Source count |
|---|---|---|
| RX 9070 XT, 9800X3D, RADV 26.99 | 40–50 fps, Perfect, 1X | 1 report |
| RX 9070 XT, 9800X3D, RADV 26.2.6 | 30–45 fps, Playable, sky shadows remain | 1 report |
| RX 6900 XT, 5900X | About 24 fps in Kokiri Forest, 30 in menus; build 88 black, build 93 enters | 1 report |
| RTX 3080 Ti, 5500X3D | 30 fps overworld, 60 in dungeons with an external frame tool | 1 report |
| RTX 3060 Ti, 3700X | 40 fps start, 20–25 fps open areas | 1 report |
| GTX 1060, 5900X | About 25 fps, missing interior fences | 1 report |
| Intel Arc B580, 5600 | 8–10 fps | 2 sources |
| Steam Deck | 8–9 fps on the title screen; ABXY mapping failed | 1 report |
| 9800X3D, RTX 5090, build 88 | Mido 1X 59.90 fps, village 49.53, 2X 47.64 | 1 log |
Builds 75 through 93
Build 75 could boot, pass the opening, and enter the game, with heavy outdoor fog and about 12–22 fps on a 5900X and RTX 3080. Build 83 worked on vegetation, sky ambient light, glowing doors, a one-frame white flash, and an AMD black 3D scene, and it added Max Resolution. Build 88 turned Dynamic FPS on by default and fixed FSR3 history handling, with a known exit hang. Build 93 continued AMD shader and Vulkan sync work. The notes say those AMD fixes were not confirmed on the affected machines, and black textures, haze, and HUD flicker remain open.
NVIDIA handheld black-3D reports (issues 94 and 117) improved after Docked mode. AMD reports on issues 132 and 98 said Docked made no difference. I would try Docked first on NVIDIA and I would not tell an AMD owner that the same switch is a fix.
FAQ
Is the remake playable on Lichii right now?
The latest catalog label is Runs, and the median of the reports is also Runs. Some PCs post Playable or Perfect. Some do not get past a black scene or single-digit frame rates.
Which resolution shows up most?
1X is the common setting in the reports I read. I do not recommend 4K as a default.
Does build 93 remove the flicker?
No. AMD lighting flicker and overexposure are still described on build 93.
